Azerothian Price Checker (AZPC) is an independent World of Warcraft Auction House market-data project built to make pricing and trading information easier to understand.
AZPC combines persistent market observations with player-contributed observations to provide price history, Market Movers, suggested trading ranges, Profit Makers, and private trading analytics for supported realms and factions.
What AZPC is trying to solve
A single Auction House listing does not always represent the real market. Prices can be temporarily undercut, relisted, or distorted by thin supply. AZPC keeps historical observations so players can compare the current market with recent behavior instead of making decisions from one snapshot alone.
Current focus
AZPC currently focuses on supported World of Warcraft Classic Anniversary markets. Coverage may expand to additional World of Warcraft versions and realms as the platform develops.
Who builds and maintains AZPC
AZPC was created and is maintained by Kevin Fehrenbach as a player-focused market research project. The site combines software development, market-data engineering, and direct testing of Auction House workflows to make the resulting information easier for other players to understand.
Editorial and product approach
Public explanations are written to help players understand what AZPC's numbers can and cannot establish. Guides separate observed listings from completed sales, projected profit from realized profit, and market signals from guarantees. When a calculation or explanation changes materially, AZPC aims to update the relevant documentation rather than silently presenting a new interpretation.
What AZPC does not promise
AZPC does not promise that an item will sell, that a historical price will return, or that a suggested spread will produce profit. Realm activity, available supply, player demand, deposits, fees, and timing can all change a trade's outcome.
