How Suggested Buy & Sell Prices Work
AZPC's Suggested Buy and Suggested Sell values are not simply the lowest and highest prices on a chart. The model is designed to find supported price bands inside the selected historical window and then test whether the modeled spread is economically meaningful.
Observed price distributions
AZPC sorts stored min-buyout observations and uses lower and upper portions of that distribution as candidate buy and sell regions. More recent observations receive additional weight so older prices do not count exactly the same as newer ones.
Fees and minimum return
A spread must survive the 5% Auction House cut. AZPC also applies minimum modeled profit and return requirements before describing a market as viable.
Evidence checks
Large modeled spreads receive extra scrutiny. AZPC checks snapshot depth, support around the buy and sell bands, and whether recent prices show a severe collapse. A mathematically attractive spread can therefore be rejected when the evidence behind it is weak.
Timeframe matters
The Price Checker panels respond to the selected chart timeframe. A short-term opportunity can differ from the pattern visible across several days, so always read the timeframe together with the recommendation.
Guidance is not a guaranteed trade
Suggested values are analytical estimates based on stored observations. They cannot guarantee that an item is available at the modeled buy price or that a buyer will purchase it at the modeled sell price.
